October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
The Care Center invites you to: Take Back The Night on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 3:30PM – 6PM in front of CHB’s Main Walkway.
Take Back The Night is the oldest worldwide movement to stand against sexual and domestic violence in all forms. Events held bring communities together to empower survivors and remind them that they are not alone. This year, since October is also Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we are leaning into the theme of reclaiming the night-and the day-and are hoping to center the idea of creating safe spaces for everyone, including those who are experiencing multiple forms of violence and/or are a part of marginalized groups becuase of gender, sexuality, race or engaging in sex work.
3:30 pm: TBTN Sign in & Opening Remarks
4:00 pm: TBTN March & Resource Fair
