Technology Facilitated Abuse is still an emerging topic of discussion in violence prevention circles. But as technology quickly evolves, so too does the abuse it facilitates. As advocates, this means that we need to evolve too. Safety planning around devices, websites, and programs is now a necessary part of working with victim-survivors. In this training there will be an overview of what Technology Facilitated Abuse is, its most common forms, and how we can empower survivors and increase their safety through technology.
