SUMMARY:Loss After Violence Support Group
DESCRIPTION:About this event\n\nHealth • Mental health\n\n\n\n\n\nIf you or your family have lost a loved one to a violent act\, this support group provides a non-judgmental\, safe haven where you can share your feelings\, joys\, heartaches\, challenges\, and experiences with others who truly understand. \nLoss After Violence is designed for individuals and families seeking connection with fellow survivors. These English sessions are offered both through Zoom and in-person in Las Vegas every third Friday of the month\, while in-person Spanish sessions are offered in Las Vegas every first Friday. Click here for details and registration for the Spanish meetings. \nLed by trained and experienced facilitators\, our meetings provide a compassionate and understanding environment. Whether your loss occurred recently or years ago\, it is never too late to seek emotional support. Join us in finding solace and strength through shared experiences. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpecial Note\nTo ensure that group members receive the services and supports that would be most helpful\, a member of Fuente de Vida Mental Health Services staff will reach out to participants prior to their first meeting. After a brief conversation\, the participant will receive the Zoom invitation or physical address in Las Vegas.
