SUMMARY:APRIL: SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS MONTH
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row bg_type=”bg_color” bg_color_value=”#008c95″][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”14259″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_wp_text title=”This Sexual Assault Awareness Month\, we are Building Connected Communities”] \nNCEDSV is participating in the national SAAM campaign through social media awareness initiatives and by promoting statewide resources for sexual assault. \nJoin us in promoting public awareness of sexual assault prevention and response through social media. NCEDSV will post SAAM-specific content via our social media channels throughout April that you can then share to your pages to help raise community awareness. Add links to your own websites and resources and share with your audiences. \nFollow us on Facebook\, Twitter\, and Instagram. \nLearn more about SAAM through the\nNational Sexual Violence Resource Center’s (NSVRC) website. \nNCEDSV defines sexual assault as a form of power-based violence with an explicit sexual component.  This includes\, but is not limited to: unwanted touching and/or contact; unwanted fondling and/or groping; sexual harassment; forced masturbation; forced touching of another; exposing one’s genitals or naked body to another without consent; forcing another to watch pornography or sexual acts without their consent; watching another in a private act without their knowledge or consent; unwanted removal of clothing; dissemination of one’s private photos or videos; rape or penetration without consent. NCEDSV defines consent as freely given and affirmative and not the omission of dissent.  Anyone can be a victim of sexual assault including\, men\, children\, transgender or gender-nonconforming persons\, and regardless of sexual orientation. \n[/vc_wp_text][vc_btn title=”Click to View A Guide to Reporting Sexual Assault” style=”custom” custom_background=”#008c95″ custom_text=”#ffffff” align=”center” button_block=”true” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ncedsv.org%2Fsaki-guide%2F|target:_blank” css=”.vc_custom_1711755693540{background-color: #84329b !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_custom_heading text=”SOUTHERN NEVADA” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:left|color:%23008c95″ use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_tta_accordion style=”outline” color=”peacoc” active_section=”0″ collapsible_all=”true”][vc_tta_section title=”Southern Nevada Health District” tab_id=”1607724013289-6d57cf35-338e”][vc_wp_text]Offers free or low cost health care in individuals\, including safe services for those that are a part of the undocumented or refugee community. Will also test for STD/STIs with birth control appointments\, but not as walk-in appointments.\n\nDecatur Location\n(702) 759-1039\n280 S.
