Research indicates that domestic violence in the LGBTQ+ community occurs at similar rates (if not higher) as that of straight couples. Unfortunately, these victims do not receive the help they need due to a shortage of awareness and resources. The material on this webpage is designed for any and all health care providers who work in settings serving the LGBTQ+ population.
