The Light After Dark Walk/Run is a fun event that highlights our beautiful Northern Nevada scenic outdoors. The event incorporates the cause of aiding victims with fitness and advocacy.
On Tuesday, October 18th at 8:00 AM we will gather at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa to celebrate the many achievements CSSNV has accomplished this past year and to learn more about the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and the future of mental health in Nevada.
When a victim-survivor uses substances, it adds a whole new set of dynamic challenges and considerations to advocacy and safety planning done with that individual. During this training, facilitators aim to provide attendees with strategies, tools, and open the doors for new collaborations and partnerships to support survivors using substances.
Join the Shade Tree in honoring victim-survivors of Domestic Violence by wearing purple and participating in their annual candlelight vigil.
Join Safe Embrace on October 2o, 2022 as they partner with the Grand Sierra Resort to turn their diamonds purple in honor of DVAM. Purple food and drink will be available throughout the day at the resort.
Join us for the 4th Annual Run for Hope 5K hosted by SafeNest to celebrate, commemorate and honor victims, survivors and families impacted by domestic violence. Dogs are survivors too and are welcome to participate!
Domestic Violence Intervention partners with Churchill County schools for "Hands Are Not for Hitting". DVI will be at Churchill County schools teaching kids the importance of not using their hands for hitting. Our children are the future, and we can’t break the cycle unless we educate them.
