JOIN US FOR A FREE TRAINING
Being able to work free from discrimination and harassment is a fundamental need and a civil right. Find out how domestic and sexual violence community members may be served by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). This training, presented by Wendy Martin, will outline how the EEOC’s enforcement of laws can protect survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, how to shift gears from a criminal law to a civil rights framework, and the role of advocates, counselors, and medical professionals in helping clients access relevant EEOC services and remedies.
Join us for a screening and discussion of “Rape on the Night Shift,” a powerful documentary that provides an in-depth investigation into conditions facing immigrant women working in the janitorial industry. Discussion will follow the 60-minute film presentation.
