CALL TO ACTION: Help Pass Senate Bill 177

Senate Bill 177 Marriage License Fee Increase

Senate Bill 177, sponsored by Senators Ratti, Cannizzaro and Scheible will increase the marriage license fee dedicated to domestic violence services from $25 to $50.  This increase will provide additional funding for domestic violence services and for the first time statewide funding for sexual violence services. As incidents of domestic and sexual violence continue to increase throughout the state, advocacy programs are struggling to expand their services to meet the needs.  SB 177 will make a critical difference!
