Registration is now open for the Victim Assistance Academy of Nevada (VAAN), a 40-hour, in-person training designed to strengthen the skills and knowledge of those who support victims of crime.

REGISTER NOW: 2026 Victim Assistance Academy of Nevada – Coalition Manager

Since 2014, VAAN has equipped advocates and allied professionals across Nevada with foundational, trauma-informed practices. Originally established by the Nevada Division of Child and Family Services and guided by community partners, this critical training is now led by the Nevada Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence (NCEDSV) to ensure it continues to meet the evolving needs of our communities.

VAAN is approved by the National Advocate Credentialing Program (NACP), and participants who complete the training are eligible to apply for Credentialed Advocate (CA) status; an important step in advancing your professional development and impact.

Whether you are new to the field or looking to deepen your expertise, VAAN offers a meaningful opportunity to build skills, connect with peers, and strengthen your ability to support survivors.

Spots are limited and fill quickly, secure your place today.
