In 2010, U.S. Congress declared February as Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month (TDVAM). NCEDSV highlights TDVAM each year to raise awareness about this critical issue. Violence doesn’t discriminate and sadly, it is more common in teens than many people realize.
In fact, one in 10 high school students has experienced physical violence from a partner in just the last year.
This February, we aim to help parents, caregivers, educators, and advocates to recognize the signs of teen dating violence and to teach young people what healthy relationships look like.
Join us and others across the nation in the movement to END teen dating violence once and for all.
Everyone deserves to be in a healthy, safe and respectful relationship. Are you in this type of relationship? To find out, click HERE
