The Nevada Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence (previously The Nevada Network Against Domestic Violence), provides statewide advocacy, education and support of the front-line organizations that help those impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault. We support Nevada’s direct-service organizations that help serve victims and their families. We support our member organizations by providing resources, assisting them in finding financial resources to maintain their operations, and providing educational opportunities for their staff, board members, and volunteers, ensuring they have access to best practices. Our purpose is to advocate for change, educate our communities, and support organizations.
NCEDSV is a private nonprofit 501(C)(3) corporation. We were founded in 1980 by the then-five existing domestic violence program directors to help Nevada’s communities respond effectively and creatively to the needs of domestic violence victims. Since its inception, NCEDSV has assisted in the growth and development of domestic violence programs throughout Nevada. In addition to assisting in the establishment of domestic violence advocacy and response programs in areas lacking services, NCEDSV has worked to improve existing domestic violence resources statewide.
